FENDER TELECASTER, 1970

A classic early '70s Tele, with figured ash body and polyester see-through blond finish, black Fender-CBS logo, one piece maple neck with skunk-stripe on the back for the truss rod (instead of late 60s maple-cap). Neck date is December 1970, but pots are dated '66 as you would expect from any late 60s / early 70s Fender, and neck pickup is dated 1970 (6460 code). All original guitar: "F" tuners, pickups, wiring, jack and three way selector, capacitors, bridge, pickguard, knobs. Fretboad finish is worn, but the body is very clean with only a belt-buckle worn spot and some light edge-wear. Very nice translucent Tele-blond color, for a guitar with the right look and sound.
For the period, this Tele is not too heavy and sounds really great. Original black tolex hardshell case with Fender logo.
