MARTIN D-18, 1963

mahogany body and neck, excellent condition, with original hardshell case. A 40 year old dreadnought, with a loud and bassy sound, with very a smooth overall voice. Cosmetically beautiful, really a fascinating vintage instrument. In the '70s it was shipped back to Martin factory, and they installed Grover Rotomatic tuners and refinished the neck. Of course the job is very well-done. Ready to play, with smooth and easy action and a powerful and sweet sound. No cracks, and the bridge has not been pulled-up by string tension. Almost no playing wear, just a few small dings and pick-marks, overall excellent condition for its age:
