cherry red, yes
another one!! A wonderful cherry '66 335. Compared to the
other one, this one is in even better cosmetic
conditions, and sounds like a dream. Very beautiful maple
on top and back, nice figure in the wood (pictures don't
show that too well... but it's really gorgeous!!). Strong
and unfaded color, extremely light checking and very few
nicks, some wear on the back of neck and on the headstock
edges, which I tried to show in the pictures. Really
outstanding overall conditions! Beautiful rosewood
fretboard, perfect plating on chrome parts. This guitar
is totally original , except for a professional
refret job (jumbo frets) and a changed nut.
Everything else is original: the pickups, which were
taken off for a while, are the original Patent -
Numbers, correctly reinstalled without any
modification in look, sound or circuitry. An exceptional
guitar, really very playable and with a fantastic sound,
full and round: it can sing and it can roar! Original
later Gibson case (late '60s - early '70s). Many more
