FENDER 57 Vintage Reissue STRATOCASTER, 1983
"Made in Fullerton" - BLACK CUSTOM COLOR

Another nice "Fullerton" Strat, in one of the most popular custom-colors. Neck date 7 (or 9)-23-83, pots date 48th week of 1982, serial number V 011420. Excellent+ condition, just a couple dings on top and back, maple neck with some pretty birds-eye figure, not really flashy but beautiful indeed.

Some light playing wear on the fingerboard, only in the finish and not in the wood, with original frets in great condition.
The logo decals show some wrinkles, a common fact on these early reissues that had their logos applied over the nitro finish.
This instrument is 100% original: along the way, the owner chose to install the original 5-way selector switch which came with the guitar, but the 3-way which was originally installed is now lost.

Into the original tweed hardshell case we find a complete set of original accessories, including the hex-key for the bridge saddles, the vibrato arm, the bridge-cover, the instruction manual, etc.

For the ever-growing community of "fullertonians", among so many sad stories of counterfeit guitars and Coronas-turned-to-Fullertons that make me sad and angry, here is a very clean and original guitar which sounds as great as it looks.
