The last of the "right" Beatle Basses, the model made famous by Paul McCartney, with the old-style 'staple' pickups! Typical 1965 features, last year for staple pickups and first year for bound fingerboard. Raised logo; all the parts are original and in good conditions, including all the pearloid elements (pickguard, control plate, neck-heel cap). Original tuners, knobs and bridge. Very sound and solid, absolutely no neck issues. Extremely clean. Flamed maple hollow body with laminated spruce top, one piece back with beautiful flame, laminated maple neck. Very easy and low action, a joy to play. Electronics are working fine, and the neck pickup has been rewound with correct specifications and materials, so the instrument is in 100% functional conditions. "Export" style original hardshell case, made by the same maker who built export Fender cases, with the same materials and look.
